The Boss ME-80 Multi-Effects Processor grants the ability to edit and enhance your recorded music on your computer or laptop. You can create a new music patch with the preloaded virtual instruments in the software. Also, there are music presets for spicing up your created music patches. A reliable connection between your computer and the multi-effects pedal is maintained through USB connectivity. The USB connectivity allows you to record songs directly on to the computer system. You are only required to plug in the USB male cord in ME-80’s USB interface and start recording.

In contrast to other complex effects pedals, the ME-80 Multi-effect Processor features an easy-to-understand control panel. Music effects such as delay, modulation, compression, and others are organised in their dedicated groups. There are seven effects categories with their own set of knobs to control them. You can assign a special effect for the expression pedal via the knob in pedal FX category. The ME-80 features two operating modes, manual and memory. The manual mode is intended for those guitarists who love the old-school feel of stompboxes. As for the memory mode, it can be used for switching between different patch (group of controls) setups.
